Recommended Incoming & Outgoing Settings:
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com (or your server's hostname)
- Outgoing (SMTP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com (or your server's hostname)
- Username: Your full email address (e.g., sales@yourdomain.com)
- Password: Your email account password
Port Settings (SSL/TLS - Recommended):
- IMAP Port: 993
- POP3 Port: 995
- SMTP (Outgoing) Port: 465 (or 587 with STARTTLS)
- Authentication: Required for both incoming and outgoing connections
IMAP vs. POP3:
- Choose IMAP if you check email on multiple devices (syncs messages across all devices).
- Choose POP3 if you want messages downloaded and stored locally on a single computer.
